An urgent order must be completed in full within one week. A regular order counts whatever was delivered and keeps adding it up until the target is reached.

Repeatable orders return once they are finished. Jack's very first iron order is a one-off.

The Happy supplier perk adds Likes to every Town order; the bonus for each order is listed here and on the trader pages.

Restoring a Town shop unlocks its trader's first orders, and each tier upgrade adds more: 20 boxes each at Tier II and 30 at Tier III. Jack's later orders come after the quest Workshop Hours.
