The six-day week: what happens on each day
Gluttony, Sloth, Lust, Envy, Pride and Wrath - one weekly event each, repeating every six days.
A week in Graveyard Keeper 2 has six days, each named after a sin and drawn as a glyph on the wheel. Each of the big weekly events is tied to one day: battles, the merchant ship, the storm that powers zombie resurrection, town orders and Mass. An event that does not happen on its day next comes round six days later.

Every glyph on the wheel is added by a story step: Gluttony during Congregation Trouble, Sloth during First... Sludge?, Lust after Safe Harbor, Envy with the Resurrection tutorial, Pride during Workshop Hours and Wrath during Holy Moly!. Until then that slot on the wheel stays empty.
What each day does
Gluttony is the only day the PR Machine accepts a load. A load of Charged hypno-devices, Newspapers or both raises the zombie limit by 10 to 80 for 1 to 5 weeks, depending on the program. The machine appears after Congregation Trouble.

Calendar questions
What happens to an event when its day passes?
It waits a full week. The Resurrection Lab reports that there is not enough power until the next Envy, the battle planner states that battles are available on Sloth, and the Church states that the ceremony is available on Wrath.
What resets on Pride?
The weekly cap on the happiness each trader gives for special goods. Pride is also the only day town orders can be accepted.
When can zombies be resurrected?
On Envy, when the storm powers the Resurrection Lab; the power is restored at the very end of Lust. A successful Prayer for Storms grants God of the storms, which allows resurrection on any day while it lasts.
