Lord Blackburn fights on the player's side in Castle Blackburn (stage 15) in Campaign, Iron Challenge and Classic Rush, and is selected and moved like a hero. The witch's potion makes him stronger in three levels; in Campaign and Classic Rush he turns into the stage's boss, Lord Blackburn, after wave 14.

  • Campaign

    Joins at the start at level 1. During wave 5 the witch's potion takes him to level 2 ("Witch! What have you done to me?"), and when wave 10 starts he reaches level 3. After wave 14 he turns into Lord Blackburn, the stage's boss ("But I'll use it to purge this city!").

  • Classic Rush

    Joins at the start at level 1, reaches level 2 when wave 6 starts and level 3 when wave 10 starts, then turns into Lord Blackburn after wave 14.

  • Iron Challenge

    Joins at the start already at level 3; there is no boss fight.

  • Other modes

    Blitz Challenge, Spell Rush and Hero Party are played without him.
